Bruegger's Opens New Bakery in San Diego
Company continues on track of growth with 11th San Diego market opening
San Diego – Pacific Bagels, LLC celebrated the grand opening of the newest Bruegger's bakery-cafe in San Diego. The Pacific Bagels franchise group, led by principal Stanley Smiedt, opened the new bakery at 655 West Broadway. The opening brings the total of San Diego-area bakeries to eleven.
The bakery brings approximately 20 new jobs to San Diego County and has indoor seating for approximately 50 guests. This location features Bruegger's updated bakery-cafe design incorporating a soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones balanced with bright colors to make an inviting space for guests. The new bakery also features unlimited, free wireless Internet access.

Kettle boiled first; Bruegger's bagels are baked fresh throughout the day to give them an authentic crunchy crust on the outside and a dense, chewy texture on the inside. More than 95 of Bruegger's 277 locations are operated by franchisee owners like Pacific Bagels. The bakery's hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
