Twin Peaks Boosting Restaurant Sales and Traffic

Twin Peaks Restaurants has been increasing traffic counts and sales in its restaurants so far this quarter, thanks to a slew of innovative initiatives including their new food menu enhancements in February and March of this year. The Ultimate Sports Lodge introduced its all-new Smoker Selects program this March. Later this year, the Dallas-based concept with implement remodeling and upgrades to some of its flagship stores while continuing its focus on system-wide expansion and growth.

So far, their efforts are paying off. The brand has experienced a 1.4 percent traffic increase and a 3.4 sales increase for 2019’s first quarter. Those numbers exceed the benchmark standards for bar and grill casual dining restaurants, according to Black Box Intelligence.

“We started off the year strong by continuing our positive momentum right out of the gate,” said Joe Hummel, Chief Executive Officer of Twin Peaks. “We are experimenting with innovative new menu items in order to provide the best experience possible for our guests. The menu enhancements that we introduced during the first quarter are just a hint of what’s to come in 2019. We can’t wait to share the Ultimate Sports Lodge experience with both new and existing customers as we continue to refresh our made-from-scratch menu and expand into new markets.”

The brand’s unique menu efforts were led by Executive Chef Alex Sadowsky, who joined the Twin Peaks team in November 2018. The all-new Smoker Selects program added in-house smoked meats to several different menu categories like the Spicy Thai Ribs app and the Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich. The refreshed beverage program added exciting new offerings like tequila cocktails, an extensive rum category, an expanded Old Fashioned cocktails category, additional classic cocktails, wine and more.

And there’s more to come. Coming down the pipeline for Twin Peaks are several remodels in cities like Mesquite, Round Rock and South Austin, Texas locations. These restaurants will get upgrades including expanded indoor and outdoor bars, enhanced AV packages, outdoor firepits and other improvements. There’s also further expansion on the horizon for 2019. A location in Lubbock, Texas is set to open in late October.

Twin Peaks is a proven brand with a future that’s bright. The restaurant has a following of guests who enjoy primetime sports matchups, ice-cold 29-degree draft beer, a diverse menu with no limits, extensive beverage menu offerings and of course, the friendly and attractive Twin Peaks Girls. All Twin Peaks Restaurants around the nation prepares everything in-house, to order and in generous portions to satisfy every appetite. The brand’s hearty made-from-scratch food pairs perfectly with a frosty draft beer or a hand-crafted whiskey cocktail.

Twin Peaks was founded in 2005 in Lewisville, Texas and currently has 85 locations in 26 states. There are territories available for the right investors and the brand is set to continue making the kinds of enhancements that will keep Twin Peaks a top casual dining restaurant.
