Katie Luelling, will operate Cafe2U in Bend, Oregon. She came to Australia to complete the 'Acceleration Package' – a crucial training component whereby Cafe2U works alongside new franchisees for two weeks, in order to help them develop skills to build the businesses customer base and daily takings.

June 28, 2011 // Franchising.com // Andrew and Mandy Lynch, who own and operate a Cafe2U franchise in the Perth region of Kenwick and Maddington, received a Merit Award for their outstanding efforts throughout the year at the Franchising Council of Australia (FCA) Awards, held in Fremantle over last weekend.

Organized by the FCA, the Excellence in Franchising Awards recognise and reward excellence and provide a platform for companies and individuals to showcase the work they are doing within the franchising sector. This particular awards ceremony celebrated the WA state winners.

This is not the first time that Andrew and Mandy have received recognition for their efforts. In January this year the duo was crowned with the honour of Cafe2U's 2010 Franchisee of the Year...

This breaking development follows a year long proof of concept study in San Diego, which will now facilitate Cafe2U's expansion into the states.

It was also recognised as the fastest growing retail coffee franchise by revenue on the list.

Franchise partners flew in from all over Australia to share new business ideas, new techniques and some unique coffee experiences on the job.
