Over the last decade, more and more people who love and own cats have come to recognise the need to develop better ways to keep domesticated cats happy and entertained in an urban environment while protecting them from the ever-increasing dangers of that environment - and protecting wildlife as well. Borne out of long discussions with Veterinarians and cat breeders, the Catmax enclosure is a revolutionary product that does all these things. At the time, Catmax founder Paul Chapman simply saw it as his duty to help protect both pets and wildlife, and it's certainly been a long road. Catmax recently celebrated installing its 2,000th enclosure, and the business has not only expanded around Australia but even made tentative steps overseas. In fact, Catmax now receives enquires from as far away as Holland and Texas. With demand growing rapidly, Paul concluded franchises were the most efficient way to service the market. Drawing on the franchising expertise of Garry Williamson at The Franchise Centre, Paul began franchising nationally and soon granted the first Catmax Franchise on the northside of Brisbane. Mr Zammit, the first Catmax Franchise holder, has been with Catmax since the early days and immediately jumped at the opportunity. Catmax North Brisbane has been prospering ever since, and over the years many more franchises have been added all around Australia.
