The Franchise Opportunity
After successfully operating over 345 Company owned Einstein Bros. restaurants and licensed outlets in over 150 high profile locations such as airports, colleges and major hospitals, Einstein Bros. Bagels started franchising in 2007 as a third avenue for growing the brand. Initially, only the Southeast United States was considered, but inquiries came in from all over the country. In 2009, most of the United States was declared open to franchising, including markets where Company owned stores were already established.
Franchise prospects realized the opportunity, signed Development Agreements, and have started to open new Einstein Bros. in markets in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas with additional stores under construction.

Research and Development
ENRG's family of brands boasts a portfolio of tastes that is the result of two things: superior ingredients and mind-bending culinary creativity. Not only were we sloshing around Balsamic vinegar before it was "in", we also started using Gouda cheese long before it was cool. From utilizing our state-of-the-art test kitchen facility in Lakewood, Colorado to constant innovation aimed at meeting ever-changing consumer tastes, we obsess over getting the food right, getting it to our customers, and doing those things two steps ahead of the competition.
Dough production (WE love to make Dough!)
Years of technical experience and a highly trained staff have made producing and properly freezing dough a science. Einstein Noah Restaurant Group currently utilizes two dough-making facilities: a company-operated facility in Whittier, California, and a plant located in Avon, Indiana where third party operators produce dough to particular specifications for the Einstein Bros.® and Manhattan Bagel brands.

 Marketing is a key ingredient in our business process. Our programs typically target very specific markets/regions and utilize local promotional media, from print advertising to radio and billboards.
Distribution...if you Need IT, you'll Get IT!
Einstein Noah Restaurant Group contracts with six regional custom distributors to distribute frozen bagel dough and other materials to our locations. Einstein Noah Restaurant Group will negotiate contract terms with new distribution partners as needed to continuously enhance quality and service.
Fee and Royalty Structure
- $35,000 Franchise Fee per restaurant
- $10,000 per store Development Fee creates Protected Development Territory
