Full Circle Image, Inc., originally Ribbon Recyclers, Inc., was formed in 1991 by a team of four entrepreneurs in Rochester, Minnesota. Their backgrounds ranged from marketing re-inked ribbons to accounting and telemarketing. Together they created the dynamic mix of expertise, inventiveness, energy, idealism and experience needed to launch a fledging recycling enterprise. They initially recruited a small group of independent customer service representatives and provided them with protected sales territories and straightforward direction: visit the prospective customer, offer a trial ribbon, and beat the price they were currently paying for new ribbons.

Sales began to explode, fueled by a marketplace that was increasingly economically sensitive and environmentally conscious. The representatives in the field realized that a market existed not only in recycled ribbons, but in recycled toner and ink jet cartridges. The company was listening and the additional product lines were added, leading to the eventual name change in 1996.

Full Circle Image Inc. continues to enjoy dynamic but well managed growth. The company's prosperity reflects a commitment to quality products, flexible thinking and a well-trained, service minded sales force. Those basic values remain unchanged even as our business goals have grown more sophisticated.
