About Get In Shape For Women
Launched in 2006 in Bedford, Mass., Get In Shape For Women seeks to transform the lives of women with a business model focused entirely on results. A personal trainer works with up to four women at a time in a private, upscale studio for as little as $19 per session. Each session consists of 30 minutes of weight training, 25 minutes of cardio plus nutrition support and accountability for a complete training program for women that produces amazing results. Personal trainers help clients set a measurable, reasonable goal and the client is held accountable for reaching it, with weight and body-fat percentage checked every two weeks.
Get In Shape For Women currently operates 94 studios in 18 states across the country. The company expects to open 40 new locations by the end of 2012, 100 locations in 2013 and an additional 200 in 2014. Get In Shape For Women plans to open 200 units each subsequent year thereafter until 5,000 nationwide locations are in operation. System wide revenue increased from $16 million in 2010 to $23 million last year, with further growth expected in 2012.
