While classic rock & roll played in the background, each employee re-created the Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) logo on a unique background. For a finishing touch, each one wrote an inspiring Bible verse or quote on the painting.
Glass Doctor will auction off the paintings to franchise owners at The Dwyer Group® 2012 Reunion Sept. 23–26 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. All money raised will benefit the Ronald McDonald House® in Dallas.

Odessa Franchise First in U.S. to Offer ProGuard Security Systems August 23, 2011 // Franchising.com // ODESSA, Texas – Glass Doctor kicked off its new partnership with Affiliated Construction Specialists (ACS) with a ProGuard Security Systems installation and a check presentation last Friday. Dan Nastansky of Glass Doctor of Odessa accepted the check from ACS President Jeffrey Moss.

Nastansky completed the first sale and installation of a ProGuard system by a Glass Doctor franchise. The Glass Doctor franchise network will be the Certified Dealer Network for ProGuard Security Systems. Glass Doctor of Charlotte, N.C., joined hands with the community to make the "home-away-from-home" more comfortable for families of ill children.

The glass shop donated and installed 66 custom, framed mirrors in the new Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte March 30 and 31. The donation is worth $14,000, but it isn't what motivated the giver.

"It's not always about the money," Glass Doctor of Charlotte owner Ed Sieber said. "This donation and this charity reflect who we are at Glass Doctor and The Dwyer Group®."

The franchisee representatives are Deane Plouffe of Glass Doctor of Calgary in Alberta and David Hawthorne of Glass Doctor of Barrie in Ontario. The council will meet monthly with Glass Doctor President Mark Dawson.

Franchise Times bases its selections on annual sales in 2008. Last year Glass Doctor reported $140 million in sales with 163 franchise units in the United States and two in Canada.
