It brings my heart joy to be able to provide these valuable programs of Kinderdance® to them while mommy and/or daddy are away fighting for the freedom of our country. The children also find great enjoyment in the program as well. I go to Fort Carson twice a week and the kids are so excited to begin class that they are there way before the classes begin welcoming me at the door...

In 1979, Carol Kay Harsell was teaching dance classes to 3 through 5-year-olds when Bernard Freidman came for a visit to her American Academy of Dance studio in Scottsdale, AZ. "I asked why the classes weren't full like the others and she said it was because all of the children were in childcare centers," remembered Freidman. "So, I said, 'Why don't you take the classes to them?'" asked Freidman. The pair, who later married, hit upon an idea before their time, and was able to capitalize on the growing interest in developmental children's programming. QUALIFIED AND DETERMINED

Now an industry in huge demand, Harsell and Friedman started out offering classes to childcare centers around Harsell's dance studio...
