Company History
Lawn Doctor was founded in 1967 by Bob Magda, senior vice president today, and Tony Giordano, CEO until 1983. Originally, Lawn Doctor was known as Auto Lawn, until a local salesman dubbed the two men "Lawn Doctors." They liked the name so much, they decided to keep it, and so, Lawn Doctor was born.
Among other achievements, Lawn Doctor has pioneered the Green Industry by developing a nationally known and respected brand, time-tested support systems, outstanding customer-focused initiatives, and patented, ground-metered application equipment.
