National Property Inspections releases new inspection software

Omaha, Neb. (September 7, 2006) – National Property Inspections, Inc. released Inform2006, the newest version of its inspection software, September 7.

“Clarity, ease-of-use and flexibility were the goals in the latest version of our proprietary Inform software,” Nancy Resset, NPI Vice President, said. “After 18 months of testing and design, we’ve come up with something that will meet those goals and ultimately mean better service for our customers.”

The new version continues to allow NPI inspectors to produce a professional report combining both narrative and checklist formats common in the business. It also increases the number of pictures that can be included, expands the comment section and simplifies a multifamily inspection report. This software is available only to NPI inspectors.

Over 10 years ago, when the initial version of Inform was released, NPI was one of the first property inspection companies to switch to computer-generated reports. Since then, technology has improved even more, allowing inspectors in the field to print reports in their vehicle, email reports and put them on CD. Customers anywhere can receive the NPI report in a timely, efficient manner so that all questions and information can be processed prior to the closing of a real estate transaction.
