ALTA MERE INDUSTRIES TARGETS ATLANTA FOR EXPANSION

MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. - Alta Mere Industries, Inc., one of the nation's leading franchisors of automotive aftermarket centers, announced it is targeting Atlanta for expansion of its Alta Mere complete auto imaging centers, with plans calling for 12 area locations by the end of 2008. Currently, there are 30 Alta Mere locations in the nation, including one in Roswell and another in development in Cobb County, catering to car owners who demand high-end aftermarket products and services.

The automotive aftermarket is one of the largest U.S. employers, contributing 2.5 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP). Valued at more than $247 billion annually, the industry encompasses all products and services purchased for vehicles after the original sale. Concepts like Alta Mere Industries are capitalizing on the increased amount of time and money people are spending to maintain and improve their vehicles, as evidenced by top-rated television programs including MTV's "Pimp My Ride" and The Learning Channel's "Overhaulin'" and "Rides."

Alta Mere caters to the sophisticated customer with products focused on enhancing the comfort, safety, entertainment experiences and overall image of vehicles. Specialty high-tech products and services include satellite radio and television, GPS navigation systems, audio upgrades, in-dash, overhead and flip-down TV/DVD systems, alarm systems, remote control security systems, custom graphics and private label accessories. Alta Mere's popular window tinting uses computerized film cutting for a precision, model-specific fit. Another product that is in high demand is the "back-up camera" which allows motorists to see if there are any obstructions behind their vehicle. The product is a safety feature more and more consumers are requesting.

"The increasing popularity of high-end car customization has created a demand for the products and services offered by Alta Mere, allowing us to expand in regions such as Atlanta where we already have a presence," said Peter Baldine, senior vice president of Alta Mere Industries, Inc. Baldine added that regions with warmer climates such as Atlanta make popular services like window tinting not just an add-on but a necessity. One of Alta Mere's most popular products is Hüper Optik nanoceramic technology window film that cuts out excess glare and unbearable heat, cooling the vehicle more efficiently and ultimately reducing fuel consumption.
