Aussie Pet Mobile Unleashes International Expansion Plans
(Sunday, January 07, 2007) - Aussie Pet Mobile, the world's largest mobile pet grooming franchise recently announced its international expansion plans. Company plans call for 35 franchises to open in Mexico, 150 in Canada and 300 in Japan by 2010.
"With the success of more than 245 franchises sold throughout the United States, now is the right time to expand our concept internationally," said Ian Moses, co-founder and CEO. "Aussie Pet Mobile's proven franchise model in a virtually recession-proof industry combined with a high demand for quality grooming services, makes it an ideal opportunity for potential business owners abroad."
According to Moses, the demand for Aussie Pet Mobile services is essentially universal in countries where there is discretionary income. This demand presents itself in both urban and suburban settings in both moderate and seasonal climates. In the United States, there is a strong customer base of dual income and active lifestyle families. These demographic groups appreciate the convenience, service and credibility of the system.
Leading Aussie Pet Mobile's expansion plans in Mexico is husband and wife Ernesto Burciaga and Magdalena Calderoni. The couple bought the master franchise rights in 2004 and has awarded one franchise serving Mexico City.
Canada's expansion plans are headed up by Arnaldo Vieira, a former 15-year direct marketing executive, while in Japan, the license is owned by K Style, a Tokyo-based management group.
"We see tremendous opportunity for growth and are confident that Aussie Pet Mobile's services will also be well received across the international communities," added Moses.
Aussie Pet Mobile plans to further its international growth by expanding into the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy in 2006. The company projects awarding four master franchises a year until there are franchises in 20 countries across the globe.
