Jonesboro Entrepreneur Receives 'Rising Star Of The Year' Franchise Honor From The Cleaning Authority
(Tuesday, April 17, 2007) - Marty Kangiser, owner of a residential cleaning franchise in Jonesboro, Georgia took The Cleaning Authority's Rising Star of the Year award recently at their national convention in Kansas City, Missouri. The Rising Star honor is given
annually to the most productive new franchise in the first 26 weeks of operation as measured by indicators such as customer acquisition, customer quality, and customer retention. Since opening in October 2005, the Kangiser-owned cleaning franchise has recruited 335 customers and employs a local staff of 23.
Marty is an Atlanta native, graduating from Mercer University with a BA in Organizational Leadership before spending 22 years with Delta Airlines. Kangiser chose The Cleaning Authority because he wanted to start a business with a franchise system already in place that would allow him to utilize his strengths. Now, he controls his own destiny with a thriving young award- winning franchise. Marty credits his team of cleaners as the reason for his franchise success, but as with most successful businesses, success always filters down from the top. In addition to the demands of his business, Marty stays active raising his 3 kids along with his wife Erin. He is also active on several non-profits boards, including Finance Chair/Treasurer at his church.
