Aussie Pet Mobile Serves as Platinum Sponsor of 'Give, Bundle and Build' Program

October 02, 2007 // Franchising.com // VAIL, Colo. - On the eve of the 6th Anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 250 franchise leaders from across the country gathered in Vail to stuff 500 pre-filled Rocky Mountain USO care packages with materials such as cameras, batteries, snacks, games, and in some cases, iPods. Organized by FranChoice, the premier network of franchise referral consultants in the United States, the "Give, Bundle and Build" event was created to ignite the teambuilding spirit within the franchising community and honor the men and women who serve our country.
Aussie Pet Mobile served as a platinum sponsor of the event, a title awarded to companies who made a minimum contribution of $1,000. Aussie Pet Mobile is the nation's largest mobile pet grooming franchise concept with more than 100 franchises in operation and more than 400 vans serving customers throughout 27 states and 7 international countries.
"When FranChoice announced the basis of the teambuilding event at this year's annual convention, we were on board to sponsor the event immediately," said Ian Moses, founder of Aussie Pet Mobile. Franchisors from a number of concepts across the nation and various franchise consultants were all on hand to participate in this event. In addition, Rocky Mountain USO director Hedy Margolis, along with local Iraq soldier Lt. Colonel Chris Petty, who recently returned from a 15-month tour of duty in Iraq, looked on as the volunteers from the franchising community presented a check totaling $25,926.07.
