Meineke Car Care Centers, Inc. Appoints New President

April 22, 2008 // Franchising.com // Meineke Car Care Centers, Inc., a leader in franchised automotive services, named today as its new president Keenan V. Moran, a seasoned franchising professional with extensive experience in the automotive services industry.
Current Meineke CEO and President, Kenneth D. Walker, said, "Keenan will be a great addition to the Meineke Team. His breadth of experience and proven track record in franchising will allow Meineke to accomplish more and move faster in the ever changing automotive aftermarket."

Walker will retain his positions as Chairman and CEO of Meineke Car Care Centers but will now be able to devote more time to strategic growth initiatives for Meineke. As CEO of Driven Brands, Meineke's parent company, Walker also manages five separate businesses in automotive services and on-line training.

Keenan Moran, currently residing in Toledo, Ohio and a graduate of the University of Illinois, comes with impressive credentials having served 15 years as the President and CEO of Tuffy Associates, a management company for Tuffy and Car-X Auto Service Centers. Under Moran's leadership, the company grew from 122 units to over 430 franchised and company-owned locations.

Moran, who will oversee Meineke's Marketing, Operations and Training, has admired the company as a direct competitor, "Meineke is well known and respected in the industry and I am very excited about the opportunities to build on the success the Brand has achieved". His appointment to the post is effective immediately.
