Selise Smith's Natural Aptitude for Coaching Will Be Beneficial For Businesses

July 22, 2008 // Franchising.com // - Master Licensees Peter Williamson, Jeff Weston and Sam Elkholy have named Selise Smith as the newest ActionCOACH in Santa Rosa, California.

Smith's office will be located in Santa Rosa and her territory will include the majority of counties north of San Francisco all the way up to the Oregon border.

"I will be concentrating on Sonoma County, particularly the areas of Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma.

Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH, Smith has had a supervisory role in the largest civil litigation law firm north of San Francisco, where she managed a variety of departments providing direct supervision to 25-30 employees at a time. As Office Services Manager, she hired, trained and mentored several entry-level young people who were just starting their careers.

"I personally mentored one young man, and together we built a new scanning department within the firm. He then had the confidence and skills to take this department and turn it into its own company with our firm being their number one client," she said.

Smith has had the opportunity to work in this capacity in a multitude of areas including reception, mail room, shipping and receiving, warehousing, civil litigation, insurance, file room, scanning, customer service, data processing, word processing and legal secretarial.

"Having such a wide range of experience to draw upon will be an asset to my new role as an ActionCOACH. I also have patience and perseverance, qualities that will benefit not only my clients but my own business as well," she said.

Smith did her research and found that ActionCOACH is a company she could believe in and proudly represent.

"The deciding factor for me in choosing ActionCOACH over another coaching franchise is the support provided by the company on a regular and ongoing basis," she said.

Smith has a strong sense of community and would like to give back to it through her efforts as an ActionCOACH.

"Having grown up in Sonoma County, I have a vested interest in seeing our community not only survive these difficult times, but also thrive and prosper," she said.

ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
