November 10, 2008 // Franchising.com // Highlands Ranch, Colo. –– Colorado-based Fitness Together Holdings, Inc., the world's largest wellness organization is celebrating Veteran's Day tomorrow as one of the newest corporate members of the U.S. VetFran program.
Sponsored by the International Franchise Association, VetFran is a nationwide initiative for participating franchise organizations to offer their best financial incentives to U.S. military veterans who wish to purchase a franchise.
"The VetFran program is a perfect way to give back to the men and women who protect our country and the free enterprise system under which we operate," said Jeff Jervik, president and CEO of Fitness Together Holdings. "They have given their lives in service to our nation, and this is our chance to honor them and provide a career opportunity for a life out of uniform when that service is done."
Fitness Together and elements therapeutic massage will offer a $5,000 discount on their franchise fees to military veterans who qualify through the VetFran program.
More than 1,300 veterans have purchased a franchise through VetFran.
