Villa Enterprises Acquires 6 Luciano Brickoven Pizzeria Stores
Global Restaurant Franchisor Continues 4th Quarter Growth with Record Setting Number of New Store Openings in November
MORRISTOWN, N.J., Dec. 23 // PRNewswire // -- Villa Enterprises Management, one of the nation's fastest growing multi-concept restaurant franchisors, today announced it has acquired 6 Luciano Brickoven Pizzeria locations from the Luciano Group. Villa Enterprises will convert these stores to its Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen concept by early 2009.
"This acquisition is in line with our portfolio, and the stores are located in markets where we currently have a presence," said Anthony Scotto, CEO of Villa Enterprises. "We now have a stronger penetration in some key markets by virtue of adding locations in high-traffic tourist areas like Riverwalk Marketplace in New Orleans and marquee locations like Fashion Island in Newport Beach."
The new Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen stores are located in Gretna, Louisiana at Oakwood Center, New Orleans, Louisiana at Riverwalk Marketplace, Atlanta, Georgia at Perimeter Mall, Newport Beach, California at Fashion Island Shopping Center, Irvine, California at Irvine Spectrum Center, and Bellevue, Washington at Bellevue Square.
Additionally, Villa Enterprises has built a new Luciano Brickoven Pizzeria in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Silverton Hotel and Casino.
The Company also reported record-level new store openings for the month of November with 14 new locations. Following is a brief synopsis of Villa Enterprises activity for November 2008.
Airport and Casino Business
Villa Enterprises reported continued growth for its airport and casino business, opening Green Leaf's and Bananas at Indianapolis International and Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen opening at Aliante Station Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas and Roseville Galleria Mall in Roseville, California.
Multi-Concept Approach
Villa Enterprises expanded its multi-concept approach with the opening of Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf's & Bananas, and South Philly Steaks & Fries at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
International Expansion
Villa Enterprises continued its strategic expansion in the Middle East with the addition of Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen at the Kuwait Club in Kefan, Kuwait.
