Jackson Hewitt Launches Redesigned National Web Site and New Social Networking Platforms
Client-Centric Online Resources Offers Ease of Use, Deep Insights and Social Tools to Inform and Empower Consumers on Tax Issues

To help better inform and empower consumers about tax-related issues, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® (NYSE: JTX) today launched a significant redesign of its national Web site, www.jacksonhewitt.com, and expanded its social networking presence with the launch of Facebook and MySpace pages, and their upcoming Company blog.
The re-designed public website features a new organization of content, which makes it easy for visitors to quickly find what they are looking for -- whether they are a consumer considering tax preparation services or searching for a nearby office, a current Jackson Hewitt client, one of the company's franchise owners, an investor or someone seeking information on becoming a tax preparer or franchise owner.
The site also offers connection to new social tools, including Jackson Hewitt's pages on Facebook and MySpace -- and on the Web site itself, the new "TaxTalk" blog (launching in late November), where Jackson Hewitt professionals will share a steady stream of tips and insights on important tax issues. The new sites join the Company's current presence on Twitter (@jacksonhewitt).

The new Web site was unveiled at a launch event held in Jackson Hewitt's technology innovation station, a unique new resource housed within Jackson Hewitt's Sarasota-based Technology Center. A collaborative work environment, the innovation station will serve as the nerve center for the company's development of cutting-edge technologies and services -- fueling integrated efforts such as the development of Jackson Hewitt's recently-announced electronic signature and storage program -- the first initiative of its kind by a major nationally-branded tax preparation service.
