Dutch Bros. Coffee Gives Back with Buck for Kids Day, Dec. 11

Proceeds will Benefit Local Children's Charities

GRANTS PASS, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following its motto of making a difference one cup at a time, Dutch Bros. Coffee will donate proceeds from every beverage sold on Friday, Dec. 11 to local children's organizations as part of its annual company-wide 'Give Back to the Community' program. Buck for Kids Day will take place at all 153 Dutch Bros. locations across seven western states, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, California and Arizona. Last year, Dutch Bros. Coffee contributed nearly $65,000 dollars to local children's organizations on Buck for Kids Day.

Proceeds from Buck for Kids Day will benefit a variety of local children's nonprofits including regional Boys & Girls Clubs, local YMCA programs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Young Life and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, among others.

Buck for Kids Day is part of Dutch Bros.' commitment to giving back to the community. In addition to fundraiser days for non-profit organizations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and American Cancer Society, the company reinvests one percent of annual gross sales back into the community, donating nearly $750,000 in 2008 to nonprofit organizations.
