Wendy's Restaurant Opens in Singapore
First of 35 Planned by Franchisee Kopitiam Group
ATLANTA (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wendy's/Arby's International, part of Wendy's/Arby's Group Inc. (NYSE: WEN), announced the opening this week of the first of 35 Wendy's(R) restaurants scheduled to be built by the Kopitiam Group throughout Singapore over the next 10 years.
The franchise restaurant is located in Lau Pa Sat Festival Market.

Wendy's/Arby's International announced the signing of its franchise agreement with the Kopitiam Group in May 2009.
Wendy's/Arby's International operates a regional office in Hong Kong -- established in 2007 -- to serve franchisees, suppliers and staff throughout the Asia/Pacific region, while preparing for expansion into new markets.
