Play N Trade Franchisees Continue to See Sales Increases Into 2010

San Clemente, CA --(PR.com)-- Play N Trade Franchise, Inc., the fastest growing video game franchise worldwide, today announced that for the month of February, 2010 their same store sales were up 1% compared to February, 2009. While average store revenue was up 12%, driven by the strength of stores opened over the past year.

Play N Trade store owner, Chris Anderson of Alexandria, VA opened his store in 2006 and has experienced an increase in sales of 118% for the month of February.

"During these tough economic times we see lower price games, consoles and even accessories sales increase," says Anderson. "This has worked well for us because of the high margins and repeat customers of the trade-in service we provide."

"Play N Trade's business model is catered around the right game for every customer every time," states CEO Larry Plotnick.

In spite of economic difficulties, expectations run high at Robert Broomfield's Richmond, VA Play N Trade. Broomfield has set a goal to increase sales each month of the year by 25% to 30% over last year. As a 2nd year owner he has worked very hard to build loyalty in his store which has already seen a 60% monthly sales increase.

"We are tournament driven and we always hold an event in our store so that it is always busy," says Broomfield.

Play N Trade has locations all across the US and Canada and offers a unique experience for customers with "Try Before you Buy," great trade in values, in-store tournaments, used and retro games and console repair. Play N Trade anticipates that these numbers will continue to rise in the coming months with a tremendous slate of titles like God of War III, two Pokemon titles and Final Fantasy XIII releasing before the end of March.
