Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning Customers Now Can Receive a Complete Green Clean

Chem-Dry's scientists have revamped three new products to provide customers with a green cleaning from start to finish. To complete this line of products, Chem-Dry's green product list will now include three newly released products: sanitizer, pre-spray and protectant.
Ed Durrant, Chem-Dry's lead chemist is excited about the three new green solutions, he said, "We care about the environment and our customers; so concocting more green products to offer customers a more complete green clean was what we determined to do."
Upon application, these three products along with Chem-Dry's core cleaner, The Natural, combine together to create the proprietary Chem-Dry cleaning process. The solutions are designed to disinfect any microorganisms living in the carpet, lift dirt from carpet fibers and shield the fibers from future spills.
The Natural is on the Food and Drug Administration's Generally Recognized As Safe list (G.R.A.S). Upon passing the FDA's test, The Natural then underwent the ITC Labs green screening process. Many of Chem-Dry's products meet the four strict standards of the ITC Labs Certification Program, which examines a product's impact on people, pets, air and environment. The four criteria tested by the labs include the following categories:

- Protection of aquatic life
- Safety for materials contacted

Chem-Dry uses one-fifth the amount of water during their cleaning processes due to their carbonating cleaning power. Compare this to steam cleaners which require excessive amounts of water and use harsh chemicals.
