Oil Can Henry's Franchise Exceeds Original $30,000 Commitment and Raises More than $45,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure

PORTLAND, Ore. // PRNewswire // -- Oil Can Henry's customers rose to the challenge in July and helped the company raise $45,401 to support the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to help save lives and end breast cancer. Over the week-long fundraising effort, Oil Can Henry's locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington performed oil changes on 15,746 vehicles. In addition, customers had the opportunity to donate directly to Komen at the time of service.

Oil Can Henry's CEO Chris Shepanek will present a check to Komen executives and board members at the Oil Can Henry's service center located at 14800 SE Webster Rd., Milwaukie, OR on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
