Big Apple Bagels Franchise Prototype Open in Minot, N.D.

DEERFIELD, Ill. --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- BAB, Inc. (OTCBB: BABB) announced today that its newest franchise, the prototype for its 2010 reimaging initiative, has been breaking sales records in its first two weeks of operation.

Open since August 6, 2010 and located in Minot, North Dakota, this newest addition to BAB's national franchise system has seen lines out the door and sales that have placed it at the top of the chain for average daily sales. No other BAB store has opened to success of this magnitude.

Big Apple Bagels, since its inception in 1993 as a small bagel bakery, has transformed itself several times in keeping with the evolution of the fast-casual café as an important segment of the restaurant industry. The early positive response to the Minot location appears to be a resounding vote of approval by customers to the prototype of BAB's updated image. Warm tones of cherry and rich green and coordinating upholstery on soft seating areas provide a relaxing and comfortable experience for customers to enjoy a full range of menu items that span all day parts, including its award winning made-from-scratch bagels, BAB's proprietary cream cheese spreads, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, My Favorite Muffin gourmet muffins and Brewster's Coffee.
