Sylvan Learning Franchise Launches South Florida Expansion With Plans to Open More Than 10 Franchise-Owned Centers by 2011
New Franchisees to Benefit From Significant Financial Incentives; Franchising Seminars Planned in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties from Sep. 22 - 23 at Local Sylvan Learning Centers
BALTIMORE, MD - (Marketwire) - Sylvan Learning, Inc., North America's most recognized provider of supplemental education, announced today that for the first time, South Florida is open for franchise sales. With mostly company-owned centers in market, Sylvan Learning is now seeking franchisees to develop more than 10 new centers throughout the region. The new centers will be located in protected territories, including Hollywood, Homestead, Miami Lakes, Miami Springs, Pompano Beach Highlands, Sunrise and Tamiami.
As a financial incentive, new South Florida franchisees may earn a $25,000 promissory note after they sign a lease and their center opens. The $25,000 loan is forgivable if certain performance criteria are met across a five-year period. In addition, new franchisees will receive a 50 percent discount off of the Sylvan Learning start-up kit, which is a $20,000 savings. Both incentives require that the center must open on or before December 31, 2010. This offer is available for a limited time in Sylvan's priority growth markets, including Atlanta, Chicago and South Florida.
