Minuteman Press owner honored as an Outstanding Women

May 18, 2011 // Franchising.com // Farmingdale, NY – Joanne Miner, owner of Minuteman Press in Miramar, FL, was recently honored as one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County.

The gala which took place on May 12th, 2011, at the Signature Grand in Davie, honored 100 women in Broward County for their Outstanding Accomplishments in the charity and philanthropic community. When Joanne found out she was being honored for her achievements, she was humbled as always, for even having been considered. Joanne's charity work with her church group as well as owning and running a very successful Minuteman Press center are what sets her apart from others.

The gala featured a fashion show with designs by Rene Ruiz, an up-and-coming fashion designer, as well as hair and make up for all the 100 outstanding women. The women also got the opportunity to strut their stuff on the catwalk during a video montage of all the recipients. Over 1,000 people turned out for the celebration and they were able to raise a significant amount of money for the two charities that sponsored the event; the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, and the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center. We here at Minuteman Press are truly proud and grateful to have Joanne as an owner of one of our centers, and wish her continued success in her life and business.
