Franchise Giveaway to Offer Business Ownership Opportunity to 100 U.S. Military Veterans

ActionCOACH salutes Veterans with franchise giveaway program valued at $7.6 million.

June 30, 2011 // Franchising.com // Las Vegas, NV – According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the unemployment rate for new veterans is 12.5 percent, far above the current national average of about 9 percent. There are more than 1 million unemployed veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and in order to combat this crisis, ActionCOACH has launched a program to provide veterans with better opportunities.

ActionCOACH, the world's number one business and executive coaching company, has launched a program that will provide business opportunities to 100 veterans, through its Free Franchise for the Forces program, which will give away $7.6 million in free franchises to 100 eligible veterans in select U.S. states.

Interested Veterans can complete an online form and to learn if they qualify.

"The alarming unemployment numbers in a segment of the population that has one of the best skills sets you can find prompted us to launch this initiative," said ActionCOACH CEO for U.S.A. & Canada, Jodie Shaw.

This is the largest franchise giveaway in the history of the Unites States and it started with a six-month recruitment drive from May 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011. Over this time ActionCOACH will recruit 100 eligible veterans in select states while waiving the entire franchise, training and tech fees, valued at $76,250.

Selected candidates will become part of a network of 1,000 Business Coaches in 34 countries and will enjoy a business opportunity with the leading company in its category.
