Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que(R) Opens Portland, Oregon Restaurant

MINNEAPOLIS, Jul 18, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Famous Dave's of America, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAVE) announces it has opened its newest award-winning Bar-B-Que restaurant in Portland, Oregon at 9911 NE Cascades Parkway. The July 18th opening marks the second Famous Dave's location in Oregon.

The new Portland store held a pre-opening on July 16th and 17th, with a portion of sales donated to the Veterans Who Care Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to helping homeless and disabled veterans in the area. "We greatly appreciate the work Veterans Who Care offers the returning service men and women of our country."

Open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., guests can enjoy both lunch and dinner in the 7,200 square foot restaurant.
