Redbrick Pizza Founders Complete Malibu Triathlon To Promote A Healthy Lifestyle

Palmdale, CA – September 23, 2011 – In RedBrick Pizza's quest to promote a healthy lifestyle through exercise and proper nutrition, Co-Founders Lynn Minidis age 55, Jim Minidis age 56 and James Panagoti Director of Operations age 26, completed the Malibu Triathlon on September 18, 2011. The Classic Distance is a 1⁄2 mile ocean swim, 18 mile bike and 4 mile run. It also raised more than one million dollars for The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

"I am so thrilled that I just completed my 1st triathlon! Now is the time to take care of you! No matter what we have going on in our lives, often our health is on the back burner. Life is busy and to keep balance we must make a conscious effort to take control of our health. We often get too busy and the day goes by without eating well, meditation and exercise. We at RBPW believe that we must continually strive for balance. I am at my peak in life when I eat well, meditate, and exercise," says Lynn Minidis, Co-Founder.

Everyone today is faced with very hectic work schedules and limited time. It's important that they combine some form of daily exercise and proper eating habits to stay healthy and have energy throughout the day. It doesn't matter how old you are. It's important that you challenge yourself and watch what you eat. ″The triathlon was an awesome experience. You have to first love yourself before you can shine that love to others. One of the most important things on loving yourself is to take care of yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually,″ says James Panagoti, Director of Operations.

RBP's culture and belief from the beginning has always focused on a healthier menu with less fat, calories, and carbohydrates. We season with fresh herbs and spices in place of high salt and only use healthy olive oil in our recipes. We offer many natural and organic healthy options. Gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian alternatives are available. RedBrick Pizza is Healthy Dining endorsed. No matter what age you are or what busy schedule you have, get active, stay active, and eat healthy. "It's an addictive lifestyle," says Jim Minidis, Co-Founder.
