Dickey's Barbecue Welcomes New Franchise Owners and Starts Searching for Sites

AUSTIN, Texas, March 7, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit is expanding its Texas reach to include more of the Austin and Bastrop areas. The world's largest barbecue chain has signed on two new franchise owners and is currently searching for sites.

"The Austin area continues to be a key market for our expansion plans," said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. "It's a vibrant community with a lot of growth opportunity."

Dickey's Barbecue added over 66 stores last year and is planning to add 100 new restaurants nationwide in 2012. The fast casual restaurant chain currently has three locations in the Austin area.
