Compatible Home Care Names John Alderson COO

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 8, 2012) - Compatible Home Care, a leading provider of in-home care services to senior and infirm clients and their families, today announced the addition of John Alderson to the Compatible Home Care executive team.

Mr. Alderson, a former Starbucks senior vice president with a strong track record of successfully growing franchise systems, will assume the role of COO, effectively immediately. As COO, Alderson will lend his considerable experience to managing the fast-paced growth of the company. Alderson takes the reins just as the company pursues aggressive nationwide expansion.

Alderson formerly served as the President of the Chart House Restaurant system and the President of the Steak and Ale Restaurant system. As former Senior Vice President of Starbucks Coffee's Western Division, Alderson had overall responsibility for taking the chain from 250 to nearly 1,000 stores, making the Western Division the most profitable business unit worldwide. He was recruited in 2001 and served as the Chief Operating Officer of It's A Grind, a leading national specialty coffeehouse franchise concept, and most recently held the CEO role for Pump It Up, a national special events franchise focused on the youth market.
