The Joint Corp. Announces Regional Developer in South Carolina and NE Georgia

20 Clinics are Planned to Open in the Area

March 15, 2012 // Franchising.com // Scottsdale, Arizona - The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, announced today the awarding of the South Carolina and NE Georgia regions to Michael "Mici" Fluegge for the development of 20 clinics in the area.

Mr. Fluegge is a current franchisee of two highly successful Massage Envy clinics. As his Massage Envy clinics became established, he began looking for other successful opportunities. Hearing a new membership based concept was being started by John Leonesio, Founder and former CEO of Massage Envy and current CEO of The Joint, Mici knew this was the business for him and purchased three franchises. “John Leonesio has carefully crafted a business model that is second to none and almost always guarantees a successful operation,” said Fluegge. “Massage Envy has been the talk of the franchise world for many years and most assuredly, The Joint will follow right along.” After opening his first clinic in Greenville in May 2011 to much success he chose to purchase the region.

“The Joint offers affordable and frequent care along with the ease and simplicity of getting treated six days a week,” said Fluegge. “It really provides an affordable price point for those people wanting to improve their health and wellness levels.”

Fluegge, a former competitive body-builder knows all too well the benefits of continual health and wellness plan of which, regular chiropractic care plays an integral role. “For over 20 years, body-building abused my body and I quickly became a believer and advocate of chiropractic care back in the 1990’s. That set me on a path of wellness and body synergy that I embrace fully today,” said Fluegge. “Body building provided me with an avenue to better understand the body and its need to recuperate and regenerate itself. Chiropractic care is essential to achieve a balance in one’s life, both physically and emotionally,” added Fluegge.

“Mici has been a franchisee of Massage Envy clinics in the South Carolina area for nearly four years and he knows first-hand how to successfully operate our business model,” said John Leonesio, CEO of The Joint…the chiropractic place. “I am extremely confident that The Joint concept in his region will be very profitable and will be a tremendous addition to our growing family of franchises.”

An industry leader in health, wellness and franchising Leonesio is a staunch advocate of chiropractic care. "Making the benefits of quality chiropractic care both extremely affordable and convenient to the millions of Americans who need it can't happen fast enough. Our standardized clinic model is ideal for brand awareness and rapid growth through franchising. We believe it will set a new benchmark in the industry for clients and for Chiropractors who will both benefit from its ability to deliver the highest standard of care simply and inexpensively.”
