How Women Cope with Work, Life, and Home Focus of New Maid Brigade Facebook Page

Green Cleaning Company Features Work/Life Balance Initiative in Honor of Women’s Equality Day

Atlanta, Ga. (PRWEB) August 28, 2012 - Women’s well being including what they would do if they had spare time is the focus of the newly revamped Maid Brigade Facebook page and the company’s third annual Work/Life Balance Survey targeting busy women. The new Facebook page and Work/Life Balance Survey was launched in honor of Women’s Equality Day, Aug. 26 – a commemoration of women’s continuing struggle for full equality.

The new Maid Brigade Facebook page serves as an environment for women to discuss issues related to home, work, family, and life. The house cleaning company offers organized Facebook and Twitter events in conjunction with these important topics.

“Women have more on their plates today than ever before and often less support than in years past,” says Bart Puett, president of Maid Brigade. “Our goal is to use this interactive platform to create a supportive community in which today’s busy women can share the trials and tribulations they face trying to “do it all, well” and solutions to help them achieve their goals while maintaining a healthy balance.”

The Work/Life Balance initiative is part of Maid Brigade’s objective to better understand the needs of modern multi-tasking women and to help them improve their quality of lives by eliminating some of the common barriers to emotional, physical, and overall well being. More than 72 percent of women feel they work a ‘second shift’ when it comes to balancing work and keeping a healthy home, as found by the 2011 Maid Brigade Work/Life Balance Survey.

All women who participate in the Maid Brigade 2012 Work/Life Balance Survey will be entered for a chance to win $1,000 worth of free house cleaning from Maid Brigade. Interested participants can visit http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e6aa2nq6h642j0xe/a002h6dnmtny/greeting to take the short survey. Deadline for submissions is Fri., Sept. 28.
