FRANdata Hires New Executive

December 17, 2012 // Franchising.com // ARLINGTON, Va. - FRANdata, an independent research company that tracks and analyzes the franchise industry, announced today that it has added a new member to its team. Eric Simon was hired as Senior Client Solutions Executive for the Business Intelligence Services division. He will help franchisors improve their operations through benchmarking analysis and best practices consulting as well as help suppliers to understand the franchise marketplace and target their best franchise opportunities.

Simon brings over 15 years of franchising experience at all levels: franchisor executive, area developer, and franchisee. As a franchise executive at The UPS Store, he was a major contributor for the record breaking sales team for both Domestic and International Development. He was also the franchise development manager at Kidville and director and minority owner of Franchise Note Buyers. As a franchisee and area developer for Extreme Pita he twice won the annual Highest Increase Sales Percentage Award.

Simon relocated to Arlington, Va. from San Diego to take the position at FRANdata and will be joined by his fiancee. They plan to be married later this month on 12/22/12.
