Franchise Lawyer Brian Schnell Rejoins Faegre Baker Daniels

December 19, 2012 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS - Brian B. Schnell will rejoin Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as a partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office on January 2, 2013, from his current position as chief operating officer and chief legal officer of BrightStar Franchising, LLC.

Schnell has more than 25 years of experience in franchise and distribution law and was a leader of Faegre Baker Daniels’ franchise team. He joined BrightStar in January 2012, as the health care franchisor continued to build on its industry leading position in the marketplace. Schnell oversaw the company’s field operations team, franchise administration and legal matters.

He has experience advising on structuring domestic and international franchise programs, international expansion, franchise mergers and acquisitions, product distribution and vendor programs, franchise sales compliance, system standards compliance and many other franchise matters.

Schnell formerly chaired the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Supplier Forum and serves on the board of trustees for the IFA Educational Foundation. He has been consistently recognized as a leading franchise lawyer in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America and International Who’s Who of Franchise of Franchise Lawyers.
