Motel 6/Studio 6 Honor 2012 Top Performers

March 19, 2013 // Franchising.com // Dallas, Texas – Motel 6, known for offering a clean, comfortable room for the lowest price of any national chain, and Studio 6, putting more in your room and less on your bill, have announced the network’s top performers for 2012. Shan Nadarajah claimed the honor of General Manager of the Year, producing outstanding results at Motel 6 Hayward, California in 2012. Nadarajah was selected from among more than 500 of his fellow general managers of company-owned Motel 6 and Studio 6 subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada.

Scott Wright, area manager responsible for leading the exceptional performance of 18 Motel 6 locations covering Orange County and South Los Angeles, was named Area Manager of the Year for the network.

The company named its Franchisees of the Year, Carole Larsen and Anna Sain, who own and operate Motel 6 Missoula, Montana, last fall at the brands’ annual franchise conference.

Recipients of these awards demonstrate dedication to the company’s commitment to people, product, guest, cost, sales and partner excellence. The chosen general managers, area manager and franchisees excel in three primary areas: guest service, efficient property management and financial performance.

The company also recognized general managers of the year by operational region and franchise operational area. The Regional General Managers of the Year for 2012 include:
