ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - April 4, 2013 // PRNewswire // - Johnny Rockets recently opened its first restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City – and third location in Utah – at City Creek Center, a world-class fashion and dining destination.

As the retail centerpiece of the nation's largest mixed-use downtown redevelopment projects, City Creek Center is the ideal location for Johnny Rocket's unique recipe of flavorful food, friendly service and relaxed, casual fun. Shoppers and downtown visitors can enjoy the juicy Hamburgers, crispy American Fries (served with a ketchup smiley face), classic Sandwiches and creamy Shakes that have made Johnny Rockets such a popular dining destination for nearly 27 years - along with fry sauce, apple slices for the kids, and hamburgers made with ground turkey, chicken breast, or 100% soy Boca® Burger for those preferring a meatless option.

Last May, Johnny Rockets swarmed into the Beehive State when it opened its first restaurant at Station Park in the Village near the Cinemark Theater. Six months later, a 2,552-square-foot location opened at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain between Zumiez and Columbia Sportswear. City Creek Center marks the third Utah venture for successful Johnny Rockets franchise partners Alex Ghomi and Max Javadi, who operate four additional restaurants in Irvine, Anaheim, Torrance and Valencia, CA.

The new Johnny Rockets restaurant seats 57 Guests, with a patio to be added soon, and is located in City Creek Center, above the food court, at 36 South State Street, Unit 240 (801/441-1660). It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.
