CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That’s Hot ™ Celebrates New Brunswick, New Jersey Grand Opening with Free Fro-Yo from 4-7 pm on Saturday, June 15

New Brunswick’s newest hot spot open to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday

June 12, 2013 // Franchising.com // New Brunswick, NJ – CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That’s Hot™, the beach-themed self-serve fro-yo concept, will celebrate the grand opening of the New Brunswick CUPS on Saturday, June 15 at 1 Penn Plaza in New Brunswick, New Jersey. CUPS will be offering free frozen yogurt from 4 – 7 pm at the New Brunswick location.

CUPS New Brunswick is conveniently located at the intersection of Route 27 and Easton Avenue, directly across from the train station.

The New Brunswick location is the first CUPS franchise to offer a full Café, featuring coffee, espresso drinks, juices, bottled drinks, tea & Chai, smoothies, shakes and hot chocolate. In addition, CUPS New Brunswick has a wide selection of food items including daily fruit salads, Parfaits, bagels, pastries & baked goods, breakfast platters and ‘Grab and Go’ sandwiches.

The New Brunswick CUPS franchise is owned and operated by Mayur Suchdev and Ankit Patel, both graduates of Rutgers University.

During the grand opening week beginning June 15, each New Brunswick customer will be given a “scratch off” card, which contains prizes such as wristbands, beach balls, water bottles, beach towels and CUPS coupons. One lucky winner will receive free fro-yo for a year.

Since opening the first CUPS in Clifton, New Jersey in 2010, CUPS has taken the Tri-State area by storm, becoming the local hot spot for teenagers and adults alike who make their own fro-yo concoctions choosing from 24 yogurt flavors and over 50 different toppings and three sauces.

According to CUPS co-founder Rick Barbrick, CUPS is much more than great frozen yogurt; CUPS was designed around the experience.

“It’s more of a club like experience. We pump out club dance music at volumes that create a highly energetic vibe, a lounge-type design with couches, ottomans and eclectic murals; and Cast Members with infectiously fun personalities. It’s the complete experience that gives us that edgy vibe versus an everyday yogurt bar or ice cream shop experience,” said Barbrick.
