Paul Davis Restoration Inc. Accounts Administrator Kali R. Edwards Named as President of PMI - NEFL Toastmasters International

June 25, 2013 // Franchising.com // Jacksonville, Fla. - Kali R. Edwards, AIC and accounts administrator for Paul Davis Restoration, Inc. has been elected as President of the local , PMI-NEFL Toastmasters chapter in Jacksonville, Fla. Edwards has been employed by Paul Davis since 2007.

Paul Davis is a leading national provider of water, fire and mold damage clean up and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. The company is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. and was founded in 1966 as a nationwide property damage restoration network with more than 300 locally-owned franchises.

The PMI-NEFL Toastmasters club focuses on helping members improve communications and leadership skills. The chapter was founded in 2011. Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization with a worldwide network of meeting locations. Headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, the organization has more than 280,000 memberships in 13,500 clubs in 116 countries. Edwards became a member of the Toastmasters chapter in 2011 and most recently served as Secretary and Treasurer for the organization. She has successfully completed the required core competency tracks in communications and leadership at Toastmasters and is a first place winner in public speaking and table topics competitions in the local club. Paul Davis employees Barry Floyd, CFO and Eric Taylor, Operations Manager are also members of the local Toastmasters chapter.

Edwards initially joined Toastmasters to perfect her professional presentation skills in her role as a process improvements professional and strategic facilitator for Paul Davis and its franchise offices. Her goals as President of the local Toastmasters chapter include attracting leaders to the club, growing the organization's diverse membership and to serve as a mentor for members with communications and networking skills. Edwards also plans to continue her involvement and advance as a future leader of the regional Toastmasters organization.

Edwards is a native of Jacksonville, Fla. Prior to joining Paul Davis, she worked in the hospitality industry for more than seven years. Edwards started her career with Paul Davis in 2007 as Operations Coordinator in field operations. She was promoted in 2010 as the company's Accounts Administrator. In her professional role, Edwards works closely with Paul Davis' national insurance program where she oversees technical maintenance of the program with Tracy Bachtell, Paul Davis' Senior Vice President of Business Development. Edwards holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. She has achieved her Associate in Claims (AIC) designation as an insurance claims adjuster from The Institutes and is currently studying for the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
