Owner Celebrates Grand Opening with Free Subs

July 11, 2013 - Mountain View, CA - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, officially opened its doors in Mountain View on July 10. Franchise owner Cathy Brown held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 10 to Sunday, July 21 to support Community School of Music and Arts.

The new restaurant, located at 634 San Antonio Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Community School of Music and Arts. Of the coupons distributed, 7,500 were valid from July 10 through July 14, with the remaining 2,500 being valid from July 15 through July 21.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

Brown exemplifies Jersey Mike’s quest for excellence as it selects franchise owners who share the company's commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service and who are dedicated to giving back to the local community. The school provides musical and art education programs for people of all ages and abilities. Through our grand opening fundraiser we hope to make a difference by supporting programs that foster creativity and inspire the school’s many students. ”

This is the 7th Jersey Mike’s location for Cathy Brown. In August 2009, she opened her first Jersey Mike’s location at 8590 Rio San Diego Drive in San Diego. Brown also owns four additional locations in San Diego. Most recently, Brown opened a Jersey Mike’s location in Santa Clara in June.
