Better Life Maids Adds the Honda Civic to Its Portland Green House Cleaning Branch

Better Life Maids is committed to reducing its environmental footprint wherever possible. To that end Better Life Maids has added a Honda Civic to its Portland Green House Cleaning Branch.

Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 - Better Life Maids opened its doors to Portland, Oregon in July, offering the region their complete line of green house cleaning services, powered by Better Life all natural house hold cleaning products. The Portland green house cleaning branch of Better Life Maids has chosen the Honda Civic as its first fleet vehicle.

Better Life Maids has long had a commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and and using low and zero emission vehicles where possible. Up until now Better Life Maids has used both the Toyota Prius and Chevy Volt as its main fleet vehicles. The Honda Civic represents a new addition to Better Life Maids mix of fleet vehicles.

The Civic was chosen above several other models after completing a full analysis of all available vehicles that would fit well in the Portland market.

While still having a traditional gasoline engine, the Civic has nearly the highest fuel economy in its class. It is approaching hybrid efficiency through increased innovation. The great fuel economy helped the Civic meet Better Life Maids sustainability goals as well and the car has a very small environmental footprint. The Civic is also a traditionally very reliable car and this helps factor into assuming a lower cost of ownership. The price point on the Civic is also comparable to most other cars in its class. So when all of these items were evaluated, the Civic made the most sense as it had the lowest cost of ownership over a 4, 5, or 6 year period.
