Kiddie Academy® Hires Richard Peterson to Lead Education Team

Peterson will Lead The Company’s Life Essentials® Curriculum Development, Accreditation and Training Programs

September 16, 2013 - Abingdon, MD (Grassroots Newswire) – Kiddie Academy Domestic Franchising, a leader in educational child care, today announced the hire of Richard Peterson as Vice President of Education. In this role, Peterson will lead the education team in the development and updating of Kiddie Academy’s propriety Life Essentials® curriculum. His focus will be on maintaining educational quality and standards throughout the four pillars of Life Essentials, which include Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum, Health and Fitness, Technology and Character Education.

Peterson will also guide the company’s accreditation process and Educational Advisory Board, and oversee the company’s Training Department. Kiddie Academy’s franchisee and director trainings are an important differentiator for Kiddie Academy franchise operators, providing them the foundation, knowledge and resources needed to operate a high quality child care facility and deliver the Life Essentials educational experience that prepares children for school and for life.

Prior to joining Kiddie Academy, Richard lead education and operations for the Eastern division of an employer sponsored child care company and spent more than 15 years in multi-site management in educational settings.
