Window Genie Announces Grand Opening in Richmond on March 3rd

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) February 22, 2014 - Window Genie announces the grand opening of their newest location in Richmond on March 3rd. Pete Breil is the owner/operator. Window Genie is a nationally ranked franchise operating in 178 units coast to coast. Services include window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and much more. Window Genie of Richmond will service the West End areas of Glen Allen, Richmond, Stewart, Staples Mill, Regency, Tuckahoe, Westbury and Henrico.

Before joining the Window Genie team, Pete Breil spent 13 years in financial services as a director of operations analysis and then a year in cable industry as director of payment services strategy. When his job was eliminated he began looking for a new one. He said, "I didn’t want to have to leave Richmond, but most job opportunities I either qualified for or was interested in would require me to relocate or at least spend a significant time traveling." Starting his own business was attractive because he could choose where he lived, control his own success and reap the benefits of his hard work.

Breil looked for jobs in corporate America but didn’t see anything he was especially drawn to. "That led me to think if I really want to stay here, if I really want to be in the role where growth is to my benefit, I should look into starting my own business." He felt his previous experience helped build strengths in operations and finance, but he wasn’t completely confident in all aspects such as marketing. "That’s why franchising was going to be good for me because I would have a complete system to work with and would have guidance and be in business for myself not by myself."

Breil worked with a franchise coach from The Entrepreneur's Source, Gus Iurillo. They discussed Breil’s strengths, weaknesses, goals and interests. They were then able to narrow down the search after they talked through what Breil really wanted out of business ownership. He thought, "I always wanted a service oriented business that wasn’t brick and mortar, had multiple revenue streams, low overhead costs. I liked Window Genie because of the multiple revenue streams and cash flow, and it was a very robust system. The other system I was looking seriously into only had a handful of franchises, they hadn’t been franchising for very long. Window Genie had a proven system that had been growing for years." Window Genie has been in business for 20 years.

Breil is incredibly happy with his decision to purchase a Window Genie franchise. "All of the people helping me along the way have been amazing. Window Genie has been great, I couldn’t have done this without my franchise coach Gus, my lawyer, my accountant, everyone. I’m glad I have found the right people to be on my side throughout this whole process. I’m most excited to just get out there get started. Excited about the launch in early March and growing the business quickly."
