Walk Your Way to Wellness in 6 Weeks and Generate Awareness for Health Missions With Alignlife

Indiana (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 - What started as a way to encourage one chiropractic office’s patients to get active has expanded into a community-wide effort with an additional focus on raising money for charity.

AlignLife Chiropractic and Natural Health Care Centers in Winamac, Rochester and Lafayette, IN are hosting their annual Walk to Wellness campaign this Spring. They encourage people to create teams of 3-5 people and start walking the first full week of April. Team members don’t need to walk together, just encourage each other and turn in their miles walked (based on the honor system) to their team captain. Then, each week for six weeks the team captain will turn in their team’s miles to AlignLife.

AlignLife will post results and encouragement on social media as well as directly to participants. They will also host workshops on safe stretching, foot care and overall health. This event is open to individuals in communities of the AlignLife clinics who may want to team up with friends or family or businesses who may want to sponsor teams. A donation of $10 per team member goes toward the non-profit organization Health Missions (http://healthmissions.org) which helps fund natural health care research and provide natural health care to the under-privileged in the U.S. and around the world.
