Hilton Garden Inn Continues Expansion in Indonesia

Hilton Worldwide Signs Agreement to Develop Second Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bali

BALI, Indonesia and MCLEAN, Va. - March 10, 2014 - Just a week after signing the first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bali, Indonesia, Hilton Worldwide today announced their management agreement with PT. Mastapa Garden to open Hilton Garden Inn Bali - Kuta which is scheduled to open in 2016. The four-story Hilton Garden Inn hotel, with 125 rooms and well-equipped facilities, will be located in Kuta, the destination island's popular precinct.

"The signing of this Hilton Garden Inn management agreement in Bali reinforces our commitment to continue our expansion in Indonesia with a firm effort to establish our brands in new markets," said Andrew Clough, senior vice president, development, Middle East & Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide. "As Bali's tourism arrivals are expected to grow significantly with the newly-completed airport aiming to boost the capacity from 13.5 million to 25 million passengers , the new Hilton Garden Inn Bali - Kuta will complement our portfolio in Bali with another pipeline Hilton Garden Inn hotel near the Ngurah Rai airport and our existing Conrad Bali property."
