Restaurant Owner and Operator Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

April 17, 2014 // Franchising.com // Pooler, GA - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Pooler on April 9. Franchise owner Chris Brown and restaurant operator Davis Autry held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, April 9 to Sunday, April 13 to support the YMCA.

The new restaurant, located at 246 Pooler Parkway, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the YMCA.

"I've been fortunate enough to have my cousin, Davis, by my side for many years as we have expanded the Jersey Mike's brand with 8 shops throughout the Southeast," said Brown. "Davis is not only my family but he is a trusted business partner and friend and we are so excited to finally open this location in Pooler. Every Jersey Mike's grand opening is an opportunity to give back to the community. In fact, for the first five days that we're open, we are inviting customers to help us raise money for the YMCA. The YMCA is currently working to fund after school and summer programs that are relied on by many families in the community."
