McAlister’s Deli to Open at Pennsylvania State University

Award-winning Fast Casual Chain Continues Expansion into Non-traditional Venues and Opens First Location in Pennsylvania -

April 21, 2014 // Franchising.com // ALPHARETTA, Ga. – McAlister's® Deli, a leading fast casual restaurant, announced today it has signed an agreement with Pennsylvania State University to open a location in the HUB-Robeson Center on the University Park campus in State College, Pa.

Penn State has one of the largest self-operated foodservice programs of any college or university in the U.S. and we are excited to be working with the university to bring McAlister's to State College," said McAlister's president and CEO Frank Paci. McAlister's currently operates in more than 20 non-traditional venues and expects to continue its growth in these venues as the brand expands across the U.S.
