New Franchisee James McIntire to Introduce Expanded Concept in Town

April 23, 2014 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – For Austin resident and bicycle fanatic James McIntire life is all about moving fast, having fun and living healthy. After spending most of his life racing bicycles and managing bicycle shops, McIntire is now racing to be one of the first franchise owners to introduce the expanded Red Mango® Yogurt Café with Smoothie Factory® Juice Bar concept in Texas.

With plans to open two locations in Austin, McIntire is combining a healthful business with his active lifestyle.

After researching many frozen yogurt chains, McIntire was sold on Red Mango’s healthy products with fortified probiotics to satisfy the active Austin community. That’s when his company sekib LLC decided to invest in two franchise locations.

But McIntire will be serving a lot more than the award-winning frozen yogurt. He will also enter the growing $5 billion juicing industry at the same time, as he opens the newest prototype that has evolved from the popular international frozen yogurt and smoothie chain.

McIntire’s first Red Mango Yogurt Café with Smoothie Factory Juice Bar will open in Spring 2014 at 3401 S. Lamar in the 704 Apartments. His second location will open in Austin later this year. The expanded concept, which Red Mango is rolling out nationwide, will serve fresh cold-squeezed juices, Smoothie Factory smoothies and nutrition boots, and healthy cafe meals under 500 calories in addition to the frozen yogurt and parfaits that have made Red Mango famous.

The existing Red Mango location at 2222 Rio Grande #C120 also is going to be remolded to be a Red Mango Yogurt Café with Smoothie Factory Juice Bar and will serve the expanded menu in May 2014.
